Whilst carrying out a Level 2 survey inspection of a late 1800's style property we identified timber defects within the main roof space of the property.
Urgent repairs are required including the removal of deteriorated timbers, external repairs (e.g. chimney stack and roof coverings) to stop moisture penetration and the improvement of ventilation within the property.
Defects like this highlight the importance of instructing a pre-aquisition survey to prepare the purchaser for future potential cost implications.
